Annual Profit Donation

We believe strongly in giving back to the Chesapeake Bay community, in appreciation of your support of us and out of true optimism for the Chesapeake. This is why we donate 10% of our profits to support Chesapeake Bay restoration.
Be The Bay accepts applications from civic, educational, or other non-profit groups in the Chesapeake Bay watershed to conduct restoration or education projects. In 2009, we donated funding to support the MudBusters program run through the Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District. Be The Bay funds have been used to train volunteers on the impact of stream erosion to our waterways, and ways to prevent it. The citizens have been active in their communities to increase awareness and action on the health of the Bay. We thank the Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District for directing this project, as well as the James River Association and Chesapeake Bay Foundation who have been ver active partners on this project. And a huge thanks to our customers for making this annual grants process a reality.
